Managed IT Services and recruitment specialists, aap³, the main club sponsor of Southampton FC has recently seen two more apprentices graduate from its long-running apprenticeship scheme. The programme aims to both bring new talent into the organisation and better the local community through boosting youth employment.
Stacy I’Anson and Ben Whatley are the latest to benefit from the programme and recently completed the scheme in partnership with learndirect.
Both Stacy and Ben joined aap3 in March 2013 and after a year of working and studying towards completing their NVQ Level Two; the youngsters have now gone on to full employment within aap³’s Business Services and IT Services teams.
Gary Callaghan, Stacy and Ben’s assessor from learndirect, commented: “I have not met two more committed apprentices in my career as an assessor; they have shown a real passion to enhance their skills and knowledge. I hope that learndirect are able to find more willing apprentices and place them in companies like aap3 where the culture from top to bottom is to support and help each other grow and reach their full potential.”
